This $44 million infrastructure improvement project extended the 100-year-old Montebello Water Filtration Plant 1’s useful service life and improved operations and maintenance. The project significantly improved the electrical distribution and reliability of the site and included a standby generator capable of supplying power to both Plants 1 and 2. BvF performed document control services utilizing both SharePoint and Primavera CM 14 for this project. BvF was also responsible for retrieving, updating, and uploading submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, working drawings, product data, inspection reports, testing reports, change orders, and correspondences. BvF was accountable for attending monthly progress meetings and preparing draft meeting minutes. In addition, BvF was contracted to perform cost estimating services for this project.
