BvF, as an MBE Subconsultant, provided CPM construction scheduling services using Primavera P6 for a $3 million project. Responsibilities included reviewing the contract scope, analyzing work constraints, setting up the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and developing the Baseline Cost-Loaded Construction Schedule. BvF also prepared monthly progress schedules and provided recommendations for schedule recovery through Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
The project involved the rehabilitation of three WMATA Bus Turn Out Facilities:
- Chevy Chase Bus Turn Out (5720 Connecticut Ave, NW, Washington DC): Comprehensive exterior and interior rehabilitation, including landscaping, milling, and paving.
- Colorado Bus Turn Out (5409 14th St, NW, Washington DC): Exterior and interior rehabilitation with site improvements such as curb replacement, plaza replacement, sidewalk widening, and paving.
- Calvert Street Bus Turn Out (1971 Calvert St NW, Washington DC): Roof replacement, restroom reconstruction, and localized exterior repairs to prevent water damage.
