BvF provided bridge inspection engineering services as a Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader under a biennial inspection contract for the Marine Parkway Bridge. The inspection covered key components such as girders, floorbeams, stringers, piers, and top deck elements like the wearing surface, light poles, parapets, and drainage systems.

BvF was responsible for data collection, field notes, and preparing required documentation in accordance with FHWA, NYSDOT, and TBTA requirements. This included condition sketches and detailed reports with descriptions of deficiencies, flags, and CMRs.

BvF prepared NYSDOT Inspection Reports for the Marine Parkway Bridge, Cross Bay Parkway Bridge Approach Ramp, and Cross Bay Exit Ramp. These reports featured element ratings, photographs, and comprehensive findings in a tabular format, including detailed assessments of the structures’ condition.
