Selected as an MBE Subconsultant to a major consulting firm, BvF provided construction management P6 scheduling support services for the $50 million upgrade of the Patuxent Water Filtration Plant Phase II Expansion and UV Disinfection Facilities Contract. This project increased the plant’s nominal capacity from 56 to 72 million gallons per day (MGD) and emergency capacity to approximately 110 MGD. BvF was responsible for monitoring and reviewing baseline and monthly progress schedules using Primavera P6, reviewing payment applications, and comparing actual performance to original plans and baseline schedules. Additionally, BvF oversaw project schedule performance, identified schedule improvement opportunities with the Contractor, monitored cash flows, estimated time elements of change orders, and evaluated the Contractor’s Extension of Time requests, preparing recommendations for the Project Manager, Construction Manager, or Resident Engineer.
