Key Task Orders Completed:

1. Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) Signing Modifications:

  • Prepared construction documents for modifying ETC signing at the Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway.
  • Conducted field inventories and prepared final signing plans and cost estimates.

2. On-Call Traffic Engineering Services:

  • Conducted manual Turning Movement Classification Counts (TMCs) and machine counts at various intersections.
  • Entered crash data for the entire Maryland Transportation Authority facilities into their Crash Data Inventory GIS website.

3. Curtis Creek Guide Rail Mitigation:

  • Developed construction details for relapping existing traffic barriers.
  • Prepared Engineer’s Estimates, Specifications, and addressed design review comments from MDTA.

4. Independent Review Services:

  • Performed peer reviews of documents for highway, drainage, traffic, and structural disciplines.
  • Reviewed projects including I-95 Northern Transition, Bay Bridge AET Conversion, and others.

5. Post Construction Inspections of Riprap Placements:

  • Inspected riprap placements on facility-wide culvert and pipe rehabilitation projects.
  • Assessed field conditions and prepared recommendations for improving stream flow.

6. Belvidere Road Interchange:

  • Provided procurement services for the removal and reconstruction of the Belvidere Road bridge over I-95.
  • Reviewed design drawings, RFQ and RFP documents, and Proposers’ Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs).

7. Bay Bridge Westbound Deck Rehabilitation:

  • Provided construction inspection for the rehabilitation of the westbound bridge deck and replacement of overhead signal gantries.
  • Managed the installation, maintenance, and removal of all Maintenance of Traffic measures.

8. Automated Lane Closure System (ALCS) on Bay Bridge:

  • Delivered construction inspection services for installing an ALCS with integrated ITS devices for lane closures and contra-flow operations.
