BVF Engineering provided program and construction management support for WSSC’s largest and most technically advanced facility upgrade: the regional Piscataway Bioenergy Project. This initiative transforms biosolids from wastewater treatment into renewable natural gas and Class A fertilizer using thermal hydrolysis and anaerobic digestion technologies.

BVF’s responsibilities included project controls, document control. Our team reviewed baseline and monthly schedules using Primavera P6, tracked progress, analyzed impacts of change orders, and supported documentation workflows through ProjectWise and e-Builder.

As construction progressed, BVF also provided electrical inspection and on-site project engineering support. Our work included daily field visits to observe system integration and assist with startup coordination. BVF’s responsibilities involved reviewing schedule updates, participating in final walkthroughs, verifying field installation of electrical and I&C systems, and supporting the resolution of construction-phase issues.
