As part of DC Water’s multi-phase Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Program, BVF Engineering provided construction management support for a series of infrastructure upgrades aimed at replacing aging water pipelines across Washington, D.C. These projects involved the replacement of over 9 miles of water mains across four contracts, along with associated valves, service lines, and surface restoration.

BVF served as the document control lead for these efforts, managing digital project records through SharePoint and Primavera Contract Manager (CM14). Responsibilities included organizing and tracking submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting minutes, and contract modifications in compliance with DC Water’s documentation protocols. BVF ensured timely submission and approval workflows, supported audit readiness, and maintained data integrity to facilitate efficient project execution across all phases.
