The Three Surface Lots Parking Rehabilitation project involves significant upgrades at the Vienna, Hyattsville Crossing, and Twinbrook Stations, including pavement resurfacing, full-depth repairs, sidewalk and curb improvements, ADA ramp installations, utility adjustments, and site restoration. Construction is being performed in active transit environments, requiring uninterrupted bus operations and continuous pedestrian and vehicular access throughout the phased work plan.

BvF Engineering is responsible for Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) services across all three locations. Our scope includes designing temporary traffic control plans to support phased construction while ensuring ADA compliance and public safety. MOT design includes lane shifts, detours, and closures, as well as signage, striping, and barrier layout. BvF also supports jurisdictional permitting processes and coordinates with agencies to maintain transit and pedestrian continuity during construction activities.
