DC Water initiated a major capital improvement project to expand its storage capacity and ensure service continuity. Among these efforts, the construction of the St. Elizabeth Water Tower stood out as a flagship upgrade—adding a 2-million-gallon elevated tank and 4,000 feet of new 24-inch water transmission mains.
BVF Engineering provided targeted construction inspection and field engineering services for the water tower component. Their work included on-site monitoring of construction activities, verification of materials and installation procedures, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance. Through routine inspections and documentation, BVF supported progress tracking and closeout readiness for this critical water infrastructure asset.
