Reconstruction of Klingle Valley Trail, Washington D.C.
As a DBE Subconsultant to a major transportation firm, BvF provided design services for the Reconstruction of Klingle Valley Trail project. DDOT proposed to build a multi-use trail within DDOT right of way, remove the existing roadway pavement and debris from failed infrastructure, and install a stormwater management infrastructure to reduce the erosive effects of uncontrolled stormwater flows and restore the creek. BvF was directly responsible in the development of Pre-bid CPM Construction Schedule using Primavera Scheduling software program. The Construction Schedule was an important tool for the Construction Completion Time Analysis as well as for the purpose of providing updates during community outreach workshops.
