Selected as an MBE Subconsultant to a major transportation Joint-Venture Team, BvF performed comprehensive preliminary and final design services involving traffic data collection and studies.

BvF conducted manual Turning Movement Classification Counts (TMCs) at various intersections, recorded turning movements, and inspected machine counts daily for seven consecutive days. We also entered crash data into the Maryland Transportation Authority’s Crash Data Inventory GIS website.

The project scope included travel time and delay studies, spot speed studies, and other minor traffic studies such as:
